Overview
Nova Events is the conceptual in-house event planning and marketing team for the Nova Centre, a venue that hosts technology-focused and creative industry gatherings. Their branding draws from theatrical lighting and futuristic colour palettes.
Objective
The goal was to create a recognisable brand identity that felt strong and memorable on its own while remaining adaptable enough to support a wide range of event themes and audiences.

This project includes a full landing page design with mobile responsiveness, an event-focused email design, and large-scale signage suitable for conference halls. The work allowed me to create a multi-platform design system that balances creativity with clarity.

Branding
Nova Events’ identity uses a deep off-black foundation, paired with vibrant purples and rich navy tones, to capture a futuristic, creative atmosphere. This palette evokes the feeling of a darkened theatre, the stage lights rising, the event beginning. Typography and layout choices emphasise structure, clarity, and forward-thinking design, allowing the brand to feel both professional and imaginative. The system is intentionally adaptable, supporting events of all types.
Deliverables
The deliverables for this project included a fully designed landing page with a mobile-responsive layout, a branded booking confirmation email showcasing related events, and a set of large-scale signage assets suitable for conference halls and venue lobbies. A strong emphasis was placed on contrast, readability, and visual impact, ensuring the brand remained identifiable while allowing each event’s content to take centre stage.
